I have found the above and there children on the 1901 & 1911 census 1901 Census Daniel Gilbraith age 32 Farm Labourer I know he was born 03 December 1865 in glendermot father Daniel Galbraith mother Jane Macauley Matilda Gilbraith age 33 she was born Matilda Donaghey 13 November 1865 in Glendermott father James Donaghey mother Mary Jane Mitchell Eliza age 11, William age 9, Josephen age 8 this is my grandmother and her actual birth cert gives her name as Joeina Chapman Galbraith 11 February 1893, Lavina age 7, Maggie age 4 Daniel signed his name 1911 Census Daniel Galbraith age 50 Occupation General Labourer Matilda Galbraith age 43 beside this entry it has married 23 years 10 children born alive 8 living William J Galbraith age 19 Occupation Gardner Livinia Galbraith age 17 Occupation Shirt Cutter Factory Maggie A Galbraith age 14 Emily Galbraith age 8 ?ilden (not sure of correct spelling) Galbraith age 8 but is a female Stewart Galbraith age 6 Daniel signed his name Now I am hoping sks can help me out on a few questions this has raised. 1. What happened to Eliza as I can not find any records for her between the two census. 2. According to my grandmother before she died she claims she came to new Zealand when she was 16 years old with a member of the new Zealand government which could fit in with her not being on the 1911 census however I have not found any record of departed for her from Ireland to new Zealand. 3. Is anyone out there related to any of the above still living that i can contact direct. Greatly appreciate any help Thanks Robyn New Zealand
