    3. Hi Listers, I'm starting the search for my ADAMS line that came from Newton Limavady, county Darre (along the river Roe) in 1776. Needless to say, researching on the other side of the 'Big Pond' is all new to me. To date, I have not been able to find any ships sailing from the above city/town so the question is: Where (what port) would three brothers (James, Samuel & John ADAMS) living in Newtown Limavady and wish to travel to the 'colonies' (NJ particularly) go to catch a ship? Also, two of the brothers (Samuel & John) where captured by the Brits and 'deported' back to England/Ireland <?>...where would 'POWs' be sent by the Brits? Is there a listing of persons captured by them? Any additional information that any one thinks I should be aware of in this search would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David E.
