    3. Anne I'm puzzled by your reference to a certificate. Civil registration for protestant marriages didn't start until 1845 in Ireland. Presumably what you have is an entry from a church register unless 1836 is typing error! If it is a copy of the entry in the church register, that would give the name of the church and its denomination - Presbyterian or CofI. (I'm not sure what info would appear on a Roman Catholic wedding entry). This info is often a far more detailed 'clue' than the parish. I assume that, if they got married in Maghera, then the bride came from there and the groom from Limavady. I have folks I research in and around Limavady and Drumachose and Derramore Pres Church. If you let me have your names I'll see if anything I've got connects.
