This is indeed a helpful and most unusual RC site. Thanks so much for bringing it to our attention. I've been dealing for years with the other RC chapels/parishes around Maghera, generally with results varying from reluctant or minimal cooperation to rigidly resistance, and occasionally to obstruction and just plain rudeness. I truly don't understand the Parish Priests who obstruct our research so adamantly, when it helps us understand the religious lives of our families and their connection to the Church, something you'd think they'd want to happen. This site is a wonderful example of how a parish can and should help.
