I have traced my husband's DYSART family in various townlands in Aghanloo, Tullyarmon, Dirtagh, Stradreagh, Drumalief and Artikelly. They were Presbyterian and mostly used Derramore church. The farms were leased from the Earls of Waterford ( de la Poer family). I have spent many hours in PRONI looking for estate records - the most helpful lot I found was when the estate was broken up and sold around 1885 following the Land Acts. There was a box of deeds referring to a map of the estate - needless to say the map was not with the deeds. I would love to find records earlier than this . Has anyone had any success in finding early estate records for this area? I can hope! Rachel Dysart
