I have some information from the 1776 Spinning Wheel Survey of Ireland that lists several Logans from the Parish Arrigal. I have been unable to find any parish or townland by that name. Can anyone help?
This is probably the parish of Errigal. The town of Garvagh is partly in this parish and partly in the parish of Desertoghill. Parish and townland spellings were very variable in the 18th century, as they were well into the 19th century.
