    3. Larry Locating the Townland your ancestors came from is the key, although your Simsons left Ireland some members of the family would, almost certainly remain. You could start by finding out which Parish, Poorlaw Union and Registration district your Townland is/was in and look out Births Marriages and especially deaths for Simsons after compulsory registration. When you are reasonably sure that some of your Simsons are still there you can try the 1901 and 1911 census. Have you looked at Griffiths valuation? I can do a look-up if you require.     3. Dear David, Could you please check for John Hassan/Hasson and Thomas Wallace in the census. Both lived in Londonderry at that time, acccording to the info passed down by the family. Thanks so much! Sandy.
