    3. My Grandfather was James Lowry ,son of James Lowry of Largy and Ann Connell of Glebe. Has anyone come across these families in their research in the Limavady area? I have heard that a new road has been constructed around Limavady. Does it go on the lough side of town ?

    3. Hi Freda, In my tree I have an Ann Laughry & James Hannah from Newton Limavady. They had a son James Hannah in c1840. I am not certain of the spelling - my GGGrandfather James Hannah (the son) came to Australia and his Marriage Certificate has his mum as Ann Laughry but the spelling could be Lowry. James came to Australia with Gold Fever like lots of others and settled in Ballarat. If you think there could be a connection get back to me.
