    3. Hello Freda. Sorry that I am unable to help with your request, BUT here is the only LOWRY entry so far in my genealogy -- they are my great, great, great, great, grandparents: Margaret LOWRY married Dorrington BOYLE -- I am only roughly guessing, but this might have been around 1790 or earlier. Although I do not have a location for this event, the BOYLEs were located at Dungiven (not many miles directly from Limavady) & also at Limavady itself -- and for good measure seem even earlier to have been in County Tyrone around Drumquin. I used to think that the name of Dorrington BOYLE would ease my research, but there seems to have been a whole pile of them in each generation -- at least from this fellow's grandfather who was also Dorrington BOYLE. Given the proximity of Dungiven to Limavady, and the BOYLE connections in Limavady as well, I would not be surprised if Margaret is connected to your LOWRYs. Hoping that this might be of some limited assistance to you. 3. Hello Betsy. Wow ! Thank you for this extra bit of information to add to my BOYLE files. Now, really stretching the friendship: --- IF you might be able to run that postcard through a scanner, I'd love a copy as an e-mail attachment. Thanks for sharing the info. All the best with your own researches. ray ----- Original Message ----- From: "Betsy Harper" <[email protected]> > I lived in Dungiven before we emigrated to Australia - from 1939 till > 1955[ before that in Londonderry city] There was a general store in Dungiven > called Patterson Boyles.
