    1. [Derry] PRONI Guide to Landed Estates Records
    2. Alison Causton
    3. I have just tried to place a purchase order with the PRONI [Public Record Office of Northern Ireland] for its publication entitled, "Guide to Landed Estate Records (in 2 volumes)"; cost is £10.00 per the PRONI's web site. Apparently, however, the publication is not available; whether permanently, I do not know, but I would like to obtain or borrow a copy as soon as possible. Do any NIR-DERRY readers know of a copy available in their public libraries? especially within Canada, because the inter-library loan system would probably facilitate this loan. I checked with AMICUS (the Cdn federal inter-library loan search engine), but that did not turn up a copy. Better yet, I would like to purchase this publication. A search of the web sites at Ulster Books and at the Ulster Historical Foundation has likewise turned up nil. I am particularly interested in the landed estates inventory of records held by PRONI for the Counties Armagh, Londonderry (the Mercers Company, particularly its lease holdings in Kilrea parish), and Tyrone (the Caledon manor & estate). Many thanks in advance, for any assistance offered, Alison Causton P.S. My research interests are KILPATRICK, McKAY, GORDON, and CAMPBELL in Lislea townland of Kilrea parish.

    3. HI Alison, Have you tried LDS? (Latter Day Saints geneology) They have a web site and you can look it up on that. Or they have offices in all Canadian cities. I hope that helps.
