I am searching for the father of Andrew McKee who immigrated with his parents and brothers in 1757 to the USA. He was born in 1747 in Northern Ireland, probably in the Coleraine area. He may be the son of William McKee b. 1696 in Minnigaff, Kircudbright, Scotland,, but we need proof. Anyone have any information about William McKee and when and if he immigrated to the USA. He could have left from Londonderry. Is there any way to find a record of him in the Londonderry area? I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get. His name could have been spelled Mackey.
