    3. Hello Mike Two books are a "must" for you. One is "Scottish Covenanters & Irish Confederates", by David Stevenson (a UHF publication), the other Kevin McKenny's "Laggan Army in Ireland" Also one on "Cromwell in Ireland" (details not to hand). McKenny shows Adam Boyd as Quartermaster in the Laggan Army and entitled to pay arrears of about £155, for which he received two parcels of land. It may be possible, I guess, to trace actual lot numbers to maps that accompany the original sources McKenny worked from, but I haven't worked that one out yet. Will be in touch.
