Hi All, My interests in Derry are John Burke and Ellen Commerfoot/Commerford from Templemore, Londonderry they came to Australia in 1838 aboard the "William Metcalf" with John's brother Michael and Ellen's sister Bridget according to the ships records John's father, Michael was already in Aus ( probably sent as a convict). Can anybody help me with the Burkes or Commerford's from this area, any help at all would be appreciated.
