Between 1804 and 1807 was there a city of Derry or was it a County? I am so confused between Londonderry and Derry. My Great Great Grandfather James Conner/Connor was born in Derry -that is what his letter of intent says. He was married to a Bridget Kane. Cannot find any Information on them in Ireland. Have most of their information in the USA but cannot find from where they left in Ireland to come here etc... I am confused on the city name and where else to go for information. Can anyone help me?
