OSNI (Ordnance Survey for N Ireland) had a full page ad in Ancestors magazine this week which said, amongst other things, you could view historical maps down to the level of a farmstead. Now this would be a first and amazing to get good NI maps on line. I didn't find the site to be very user friendly and when I eventually found the Historical maps I couldn't view them. You need Java enabled and I have this. I emailed OSNI about my difficulty connecting and their reply didn't help- just that I needed Java. Could someone with a more technical brain than mine try it and see if they get a result. It could be a great resource and one I'd really like to work www.osni.gov.uk Rachel
