I'm new to this list and have been trying to locate information on Henry Taylor and family that emigrated to Ontario in 1866. Henry Taylor was a weaver. Canada census indicates he was born in 1821, but his death certificate states death in March 8, 1891 in Esquessing, Ontario at 75 years 4 months 29 days. This would make his birth 1815/1816. The death register shows " CountyDown, Ireland" as his birth place. The informant was his son in law William Pitt of Esquessing and so I would think the death information to be accurate.
