The family migrated to the York Co., Pa. area by mid 1730's. When William died in 1750, his will of 1749 was probated. The Plantation went to one John & the Mill went to James. Neither of them left Pa. Some of their son & other relatives did migrate west. Alot of James's kin went to Illinois, Ohio, Indiana then on west to Plains states and to Califoria.
