John Stewart was born in Lurgan in 1868. He became an orphan at the age of seven. I know nothing of his childhood or the casue of his parents' deaths. He emmigrated to Dunbarton, Scotland as a young man. My great grandparents were William James Stewart, hand loom weaver, and Sarah Jane (Wells) Stewart. They had a daughter named Annie Stewart.
