    3. Don, Keep up your 'pursuit' of the BRANION/BRANNION origins at Cladybeg, Armagh, please. My interest is of Francis VALLELY, alias Michael BRANNION, born in Ireland, who was convicted at Lancaster Assizes in 1810 of wounding with a firearm, initially sentenced to hang and which was commuted to transportation for life. He was sent to Tasmania from which time his history is known. My VALLELY forebears are well established at Cladybeg, and by reason of your interest in BRANNION in that area, it indicates a possibility of the use of the 'alias' by Francis VALLELY. I shall watch further messages with interest. Regards - Peter VALLELEY --------------------------------- Now you can scan emails quickly with a reading pane. Get the new Yahoo! Mail.

    3. Hi Peter. I'll keep this in mind. I really don't have a good idea where my family came from other than the County Armagh and Scott's Corner references. I know all (or at least most) of the family that emigrated to Canada but not exactly where they came from in Ireland. Maybe I can connect your Michael Brannion if my ancestors came from the Cladybeg area.
