    1. [ARMAGH] Church of St. John Moy, Parish of Clonfeacle
    2. My grandfather, Thomas O'Connor, was baptized in the Church of St. John Moy, Parish of Clonfeacle, Diocese of Armagh, in 1873. On his US naturalization papers, he lists his birthplace as Loughgall, County Armagh. We also have an undated obituary for his mother which lists her place of death as Layshiffield (have also seen it spelled Lissheffield). Does anyone know if the Church of St. John Moy still exists? And, is there a cemetery connected to the church? Finally, are Loughgall and Lissheffield in close proximity to each other? Many thanks for any help! If you go to John Hayes' superb web site, in particular, his digitized index for Griffith's Valuation: http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php ... Type in "Connor" in the surname box, and select "Armagh" for county, two of your ancestors' names pop up, and I would hazard a guess that there is a better-than-even chance that you are related to the other Connors listed for the parish of Loughgall. ajk
