She didn't know her father well as she grew up not being in his care after her mother died young, but she did seem to think that there was a sister who may have gone to live in the US. She said there was a Bella or Leticia. Given that Thomas Dynes Atkinson named his daughter from his 2nd marriage Leticia, this sounds more likely although my nanna was in her 80s when I spoke to her about all this.
