Their sons Francis (b. 1936) and John (b. 1848) were baptized in the town of Keady's RC church, Derrynoose RC Parish. My GG grandfather was their son Andrew Keating (b. abt 1835 (no baptismal record found). Andrew Keating emigrated about 1855 to NY city. His father James and brother John may have emigrated too. I have found a burial that may equate to James and a naturalization probably for John. I have some information on later generations of some related Keatings in Clay, but do not have precise information on how they relate to my GGG grandparents and their descendants. Andrew had a family in NY city with first wife Jane. I do not have information on the descendants of their children Mary, William, James, Jane, and Jennie born between 1859 and 1868. Andrew married my GG grandmother Rosanna McManus in 1870. I have some information on the de! scendants of their children Elizabeth (m. Joseph White), Andrew B. Keating (m. Louise Messereau), Rose (no descendants), and Margaret (m. James McGuire). Would like to find information on other related Keatings and Shorts in Ireland, in the U.S. and anywhere else.
