So far, I think that James McCrum born abt. 1817 left Ireland with a brother and settled in Hope, Ontario, Canada where he married and had a family. His son William Isaac is my grandfather, born 1849 in Ontario. He married Margaret Wilcox in Simcoe, Ontario and moved to Minnesota. They had 10 children, my father Donald being the youngest. It has always been said that they had relatives who owned linen mills in Ireland. I am tring to find connections. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thank you.
