I'm researching the family of Peter McCann-born about 1807, Margaret McCann born about 1813, Married in Upper Killeavy Catholic church, Margaret was the daughter of Anne, we don't know who her father was, Peter was a Flax grower in Ireland and came to the USA in about late 1849 or l850. Margaret and her five children : Thomas born about.1839,Patrick about.1842.Anne about 1844,Michael Francis about 1846 and James about 1849, They arrived on Feb, 1853, New York was the Port of Embarkation, They left from Liverpool, They had five more children born in the USA, Margaret Ann, Peter Jr, Who died in Madison, Wisconsin at age 21,John Charles who married Bridget Haney,Stephen Patrick a Railroad man, also died in Madison, Wisconsin.The last child was Mary Margaret, who married John Wallace Moore. In 1860, we find this family living in Plymouth, Juneau County , between Mauston and Elroy,Wisconsin Would appreciate any information on the family between 1853 when Margaret entered this county and 1860 when we find them them on the. Census.
