Author: margaretmbrown1455 Surnames: Hughes /Goodwin Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.arm.general/9302/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Trying to find infromation on my greatgrandad Patrick Hughes brother and sister who were Henry Hughes and Isobella Hughes .Henry was born in 1856 and Isobella 1866 the whole family came from Corr in the Eglish parish of Co .Armagh .Thier parents name was Peter and Catherine m.s Sherry they were tennet farmers and the landowner at the time was Sir J Stronge . Henry and my greatgrandad Patrick both married in 1877 at St Joseph church in Milton Glasgow Henry married a Jane Goodwin and my Patrick married Mary Goodwin 2 sisters Henry and Jane had the following childern Peter, Mary born in Glasgow,John born Greenock Renfrewshire, Felix, Patrick born in Striling and Catherine born 1897 in Ireland . Jane died in Lanark but can't find Henry or John,Felix, Catherine, or Patrick anywhere . As for Isobella Hughes all i know about her is that she was born in Corr in 1866 .
