    1. [ARMAGH] Presbyterian Churches of Ballymoor
    2. Edward Stephenson
    3. Back in February I asked how many Presbyterian churches were in Ballymore Parish, and which had been Ulster Synod and which Secession Synod. Fellow Listers provided the names of five churches, but no Synod. A couple recommended Lawrence Kirkpatrick's new book, "Presbyterians in Ireland, an Illustrated History." I bought the book, a beautiful book with pictures of every Presbyterian church in Ireland, as well as brief data on each and historical information on the development of the church on Ireland. This is what I found: CONGREGATION, (Synod), Founded (or first mentioned), and Earliest Records (from Ryan's Irish Records (1997)) CLARE (Ulster) f.m. 1679 b. 1824, m. 1825 CLARE (Secession) early 19th C. CREMORE (Secession) 1802 1831 POYNTZPASS (Ulster) 1836 b. 1840, m. 1850 TANDRAGEE (Ulster) 1825 b. 1830, m. 1835 TYRONE'S DITCHES (Secession) 1762 1832 (aka DRUMBANAGHER) This information was useful to me. I hope it can help some of you Listers.
