I'm assuming that the first Robert Downie is from Blaris in County Down. Not sure what to make of the second listing, as there's so little information. Was he discharged in 1820? You may very well be right that the third man is a relative...at least I can begin looking for Downies in the Lochgaul area. Small clues, for sure, but something to investigate. Thanks again.
