Over the last few months I have been developing a map showing the parishes in Northern Ireland as well as a few of the many thousands of Townlands (in Tyrone, Antrim and Derry). I started doing this in frustration while researching my own family, trying to locate the actual parish positions on a map. I showed the map to a few others and was overwhelmed by the interest in it and so decided to work though all of Northern Ireland. I have just uploaded the parish maps for Armagh. The map now shows all parishes in the west of Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Fermanagh and Tyrone. So far I have only included one parish in Down and about 25% of Antrim, but I hope to complete these two over the next month. I plan to move the page to a different address and so please don't bookmark it.
