Ireland) m. ? (b. Ireland, d. Ireland). They had 3 children: 1. Samuel Hart (b. abt. 1815, b. "north of Ireland, near Belfast, in Ulster", d.abt. 1866 in Bishop's Mills, Wolford Twp., Grenville County, Ontario, Canada. He married Rebecca Kelly (b. about 1814, possibly in Co. Armagh, d. March 19, 1895 in Bishop's Mills, Wolford Twp., Grenville County, Ontario, Canada. They married March 15, 1840 in Clare Presbyterian Church, Co. Armagh, Ireland. These are my ancestors. 2. John Hart (b. July 13, 1877). 3. Martha Jane Hart (b. 1844, d. 1904, m. Robert Langtry in same Clare church, then emigrated to Canada. 4. James Hart (b. January 6, 1843, d. September 6, 1908 in Merrickville town, Grenville Co., Ontario, Canada (near to Bishop's Mills). 5. Nancy Hart (b. 1848, d. 1923 in Bishop's Mills, m. Henry Bigford 6. Jane Hart 7. Robert Hart (possibly one of these children) 8. Violet Hart (also possibly one of these children. There is some family vague memory that they might have been half-siblings to the previous 6 children.) 9. Maurice Hart (b. December 25, 2840, "Easton's Corners", Wolford Twp., Ontario, Canada, d. September 7, 1920 at age 87 in Bishop's Mills. The first child, above, Samuel Hart m. Rebecca Kelly March 15, 1840 in Clare Presbyterian Church in Co. Armagh. She was the daughter of James Kelly and Jane ?. They emigrated to Canada soon after their marriage (perhaps 1835?, perhaps 1840) and they had several children: 1. James Hart, b. 1843, d. September 6, 1906 at the age of 65 yrs, 8 months.' 2. Martha Jane Hart, b. 1844, d. 1904) 2. Samuel Hart, Jr. 3. Anna Bella Hart, b. abt. 1853, m. John Henry Bradford. Nickname Isabella 4. John Hart, b. about 1856. 5. Maurice Hart, b. December 25, 1840, m. Catherine Minish, d. September 7, 1928, Bishop's Mills, Ontario, Canada. Their 5th child, above, Maurice Hart, married the girl on the next farm in Bishop's Mills. Her name was Catherine Minish (b. abt. 1845 in Canada). They married on May 3, 1866 in Ogdensburgh, New York. Her parents were Jams Minish and Elizabeth Moore. Catherine d. March 26, 1911 at the age of 66 years. Maurice and Catherine Hart had these children: 1. Samuel Hart (b. February 11, 1868, d. December 2, 1943) 2. David Lorenzo Hart (b. March 28, 1970, d. March 12, 1908. Nickname Ren. 3. Margaret Hart (b. December 20, 1872, never married, studied nursing in New Britain Connecticut, US, then returned to Bishop's Mills. 4. Ella Hart (b. July 13, 1875, d. September 3, 1959. 5. Charles Merrrill Hart 6. Eli Maurice (Morris) Hart (b. March 25, 1879, d. March 1963 at the age of 88 in Erie, Pennsylvania, US. 7. Agnys Jane "Nancy" Hart (b. October 12, 1881, d. 1963). 8. Elizabeth Rubena Hart (b. November 9, 1883, d. April 17, 1884 at the age of 2 years and 5 months 8 days.) 9. Archibald "Albert" Arthur Hart (b. January 24, 1885, d. December 16, 1953 in western US) Eli Hart, no. 6 above, was my grandfather. He emigrated to Hartford, Connecticut, US, met and married Carrie Kelsey Bliss. They had two children: 1. Merrill Bliss Hart (b. August 29, 1910, New York, US. d. 1969 at the age of 59. 2. Lauren Watson Hart (b. November 20, 1914, Connecticut. D. August 7, 1992, Balsta, Sweden. Lauren was my father. Sorry to bore you with all this. I know very little of my ancestors who were born in Ireland, as you can tell. There was a family memory of "Cavan" but I never found any Harts in Co. Cavan. Then I learned there is a Cavan Townland, Kilmore Parish, in Co. Armagh. Since Rebecca Kelly's family church was in Clare, Co. Armagh, I started to look for Harts in Co. Armagh. I have found many Harts there and believe this must be the right place, though I have no proof. I would dearly love to know the parents and siblings of (no. 1, above) Samuel Hart, and of course his grandparents, etc. Do any of these names mean anything to you? It would be wonderful to find a connection.
