I am descended from William & Cecelia Bowland (nee Parkinson) from Armagh. Their son George Bowland b1798 in Armagh married Sarah Hutchinson 1810-1850. George & their 8 children all came to Australia during the 1850s. I know we have connections through this same family with Boland/Bowlands in Canada.
