How many BRADLEY families there may have been in Armagh around 1800 is one question to consider. My Mary Bradley's husband, John Kennedy, was born about 1819, 20 at his marriage in 1839. Marrying young, we would suspect Mary to have been born between about 1819 - 1822. At those times it was common for a mother's child bearing to cover much more than a decade, with much infant mortality interspersed. Your Sarah, if born around 1805 - 1812, could easily have been Mary's older sister or near cousin. Demonstrating it is another question. By the way, John Kennedy's death certificate in 1858 records that he had been in New South Wales for 17 years, indicating that they had emigrated from Ireland about 1840/41, shortly after their marriage. His father in Armagh is given as JOSEPH KENNEDY, and a Draper, which would tend to indicate a town dweller. We will probably have to leave it there until someone has the chance to delve into the parish records over a quarter century period or more. Unfortunately, I believe my events pre-date the Valuations and Aplotments records that could provide further information. Best wishes, Bill.
