    3. Hi Elizabeth I'm sorry I cannot help you with information towards your travels to Lurgan in July, lucky you, but the name Elliott was of great interest to me as I am also researching this name in Armagh and possibly Lurgan. My great grandmother, Mary Ann Elliot/tt was born about 1846 to Richard Elliot/tt and Mary Cowbray/Carbery in Armagh, Cty. Armagh as per her marriage record in Australia in 1873. Richard was a farmer. I have about 12 ELLIOT baptisms in Lurgan that I transcribed some years ago from 1826 to 1874 if you are interested although I have posted these to the list. I have not been able to find anything on Richard his wife Mary or their daughter Mary Ann in Armagh. Would love to hear from you if you feel there could be a connection. 3. By any chance do you have a Catherine ELLIOT who married a Joseph OLIVER between 1826-1831? Actually, her last name is a guess based on the name of their only son, John Elliot OLIVER.
