Copy of Entry in the Reg. of Births- No. Ire. (2844): Thomas David b. to John Henry Sergant of Foybeg and Mary Jane Sergant(Brannon) on Nov. 15th 1887. I got this from a relative of of those mentioned. He spells his name Seargent. A distant relative(lives in Derryinver,Co. Armagh) of mine told me he remembers a Jim Sargent who had a brother Wesley (I think he said they are deceased), and a brother who is still living. I think he may live in Derryagh or this family was from there. I live in CT.,USA. My father-in-law told me a few years back that he knew a Jim Sargent and he was known as the tree surgeon and he went back to Ire. My relative from Derryinver says this is the same Jim Sargent from Derryagh. I don't know haw common the name Sargent and its various spellings are or if this is of any use to you.
