Three of their 11 children, namely James, Francis and Eliza were born at Anahorish, Toomebridge, Co. Antrim and were baptized in St. Trea's R.C. Chapel, Newbridge, Magherafelt, Co. Derry, N. IRL, over the period 1858 to 1867. I haven't located a Margaret in the family yet but it's possible. Of the 11 so far, only one stayed in Ireland the rest emigrated to New Zealand. I have nomination letters indicating their addresses were Anahorish in the 1870's. It is possible that there is a connection between the two as I know the family name was Heaney but it was changed to Heeney in NZ. I am currently struggling to connect with any of the family that remained in back in Ireland. Looking at a map Anahorish doesn't seem to far distant from the Upperlands area.
