I have been in touch with a local historian, Tommy Glenny, and this is his response to my query about Tillie Wilson: "Yes, Tillie Wilson is now deceased. About 5 years. She lived into her 90's My wife knew her very well, and visited her often, sat by her open fire side in her thatched cottage. I have intended sending you a photo. Once I get some others sorted. Was out on Saturday and my camera gave up the ghost, so I am now delayed. Nobody of the Wilson family now lives in the cottage. In fact I think the family male line has died out as it is in possesion of a married niece of Tillie Wilsons. Tillie was unmarried. She had a sister who married a Dynes McAdam, and another who married a Alexander Trouton, and others who I don't know. A Roy Clarke and family now lives in the cottage. Its kept as it was built some 250 years ago. Tho' it has electricity and running water now. The address of the property as in the email is a bit mixed up.
