Hi, I know I have put this on line before but I want so much to find my James and Isabella CALLISON from County Armagh before I am too old to use the computer. No smiles at this, just wait until you reach the big eight zero! James was born about 1722 in County Armagh, Married at age 22 to Isabella_____? about 1846 and left Ireland for our country (The U.S.) about 1847 or 1848. He eventually ended up in Virginia where they settled and raised a family of about twelve children. If anybody has a CD or some other device to search I would be immensely greatful if you would check these people for me. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my email. Dottie, I have lookd at Emerald Ancestors for you and although there is no James Callison, there are only a few entries for that name. About 75% of them are in and around Markethill, Co. Armagh (Kilcluney Parish) so perhaps that might help you to get a bit further. Dottie, a P.S. I have looked at Griffiths 1864 and find a James CALISTON (note spelling) in the Townland of Mullaghbane, Parish of Mullaghbrack (again, near Markethill), also a Samuel CALLISON in David Street Portadown. They might be of interest.
