    3. Hi List, Looking for others with connection to the MCCONAGHY family of Seagoe circa 1810. "My" JOHN MCCONAGHY was born about 1808, Seagoe. He enlisted in the 52nd Regiment Dec 1826, at Lurgan, and was a weaver. After retiring from the army he emmigrated to New Zealand in 1848. Hoping someone might have a connection to any siblings John may have had. Have found many many spelling variations of the surname including: MCCONNAGHEY, MCCONAGHEY, MCCONNAGHY, MCONKEY, MCONAGHY MCGONAGHY etc Cheers Stephanie Niederberger New Zealand
