It was the same weekend that the village had their annual Graveyard Sunday. It was lovely to see how the old tradition is still very much respected. There is a Restaraunt named Traynors/Trainers in the Blackwater town who may be able to give you information as the Hughes have been around that area for generations and are all well known making good fortunes in the building trade. Also, as most families own farms and land, the farm house is always passed onto the eldest son and other land may be set aside for other sons to build their homes. Hope this helps. Good luck too.
