Hello Rosemary, Stephanie et al, I've studied the records of both Seagoe and Knocknamuckley Parishes quite a lot, since I've found that ancestors of mine attended both of these C of I Parishes. Both are in the Civil Parish of Seagoe. I know that St. Gobha Church (commonly called Seagoe) has been in existence since 1771 - possibly a century or so before that. St. Matthias Church (commonly called Knocknamuckley) was established in 1837. It's right on the line between Co. Down and Co. Armagh, part of its property being in each of those counties. It's actually in the townland of Ballygargan; Knocknamuckley is a townland next to Ballygargan. So the only C of I church in 1812 would have been Seagoe, or St. Gobha.
