    3. Hello an IGI patron contribution lists a marriage 18 OCT 1839 at Drumcree, Armagh in which I am interested. From your knowledge of the available records, might I ask where their researcher may have obtained this and other results, as they are all quite early? Ref: Batch No. 8632330 Regards Bill Webster Sydney Australia

These microfilms are held by the PRONI (Public Record Office of Northern Ireland) in Belfast. An index to Church of Ireland microfilms can be seen on one of the PRONI's web pages: http://www.proni.gov.uk/records/private/cofiindx.htm If you are seeking Roman Catholic parish of Drumcree records, copies survive from 1844. Microfilm copies of these records are also held at the PRONI. ajk

    3. Thank you to Alison Kilpatrick for the following reply on 20 May. I have since twice visited the PRONI website and clicked on their "Contact Us" link to simply enquire if records exist for this parish at that time. So far no response. Does PRONI respond to such requests or should I approach them in a different manner? If I find the parish recirds exist, I can then proceed to a more formal application. Theior listing for DRUMCREE reads: Drumcree Armagh Armagh MIC/1/21,42 & 43 but this does not reveal what periods or what events (births, marriages, deaths?) these microfilms cover. 3. The early marriage record likely came from family records or from early church records which are held locally in the churches. .....Hope this helps...Syl ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Websters" <wbwebster@optusnet.com.au> To: <nir-armagh@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 20, 2007 2:21 AM Subject: [ARMAGH] Marriage record 1839 > Hello > >marriage 18 OCT 1839 at Drumcree, Armagh where might this and other results be obtained, as they are all quite early?
