All the information I have about him is that in 1783 he was a captain in the British Army. He was married to Anne Thompson from Armagh. She was my Great-Great-Great Grandmother. According to my family records she is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Brooklyn NY. Anne Thompson Patton got remarried after Frank Patton died to James Early. At some point they must have been in America but their daughter Ellen Early got married in Armagh to John Gribben. Then their daughter Mary Gribben, came to America and got married in New York City to Patrick Loughran. Basically, I am trying to find out if Frank Patton was in America for the revolution or if Anne and Frank came to America later on?? Did Anne marry James Early in America or in Ireland?? Did THEY come to America? At what point did the Early family go back to Ireland- since their Anne died here in America and their daughter married in Ireland. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
