Peter, mmmm this sounds good!! I have Thomas GOULD born Armagh about 1834 married to Margaret FOSTER 1863. Margaret was born in Sydney so they could've married in NSW too. Thomas died 19Nov1877 Clunes, Vic. Margaret died 17Jul1923 Clunes, Vic. Their certs are on my wish list. They had 6 kids that I know about. Thomas parents were Richard GOULD & Mary Ann McDONALD. I have found not a skerrick of info about them outside Aus. I wonder if my Richard & your James were brothers???? Interesting, I've been 'looking' for them for years.
