    1. [ARMAGH] 1901 Irish Census and 1911 Dublin Census online and free to view

    3. Ah yes ... the famous Irish Clan of Hu ..... sorry just my Irish sense of humour ... Absolutely Julie ... the digital form of the 1901 Census [and 1911 for Dublin] will cover ALL of Ireland from Cork to Derry as the Census was taken in 1901. The Republic which covers only the southern portion of Ireland [Connacht-Munster-Leinster] south of our most ancient Ulster did not appear until after 1922 to which they added a couple more counties. It was also part of the deal with the Canadian government [Freedom of Information Act] which believes, as do our American cousins, that ALL Census records are free to all comers. After all it is THEIR records that we are accessing. Should be available at the very latest by November. That and the new complete Journal of the Memorials to the Dead, also covering all Irish cemeteries with legible headstones from 1890 to 1914 [again Cork to Derry] from Eneclann by the same period will keep us all busy for years to come. The Eneclann CD will have to be purchased ... well worth the dollars ...... Will the census returns for all of Ireland be included, or just the Republic of Ireland?
