Author: brigidedmonds Surnames: Garvey Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.arm.general/9463.1.1.3.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: To Frank Traynor, I just saw your post from 2008 and wondered if you had more Garvey information. I am a descendant of Bernard Garvey and Sarah Quigly who left Newtounhamilton about 1850 with their son Hugh Garvey and ended up in Pennsylvania. I wonder if all the Garveys from that small town were related. 3. Hi Brigid Is this the Hugh Garvey who was born February 1850 to Bryan Garvey and Sarah Quigly? I am from Forkhill Parish. The boundary of this parish is close to Netownhamilton and Bernard/Bryan Garvey is very common here especially in an area known as Dorsey/Dorsy as is Quigly. Is it your family who are rlated to the Garvey priests?
