That William could be my uncle because he was older than my father and my father was born about 1889. All I knew about the Porters were that they were friends of the family. Now when my father left New York he moved to Washington state and lived in a small town named Pe Ell until he moved to California in 40's. Also I jsut remembered that my aunt's name was Martha Alexander and I think she lived in Belfast?
