I am just starting to research the Mawhinney family. What I have found so far is from the 1911 census of Lurgan. William Mawhinney age 31 born Lurgan, church of Ireland Catherine wife age 31 born Lurgan had 5 children 4 living Sarah Anne age 10 born Lurgan Maggie age 8 born Lurgan Mary age 4 born Lurgan Catherine age 2 born Lurgan Mary Jane mother widow age 76 born Co Down. I live in the USA and was wondering if there are any online sites that could help me further the family, either pay of free. The youngest daughter Edith not yet born immigrated to the USA probably in the 1940's or so. And also if anyone has any further info or suggestions for this family.
