John had two older brothers William and Christopher and their death certificates state that they were born in Canada. I have no knowledge of where John was born. I have searched as well as engaged a professional researcher to search for any record of a marriage for Sarah Jane (prior to Robert White) or births of any children in Armagh but have been unsuccessful. Robert White was not the natural father of the children and perhaps he couldn't support them and so they were admitted to the Benevolent Asylum. Robert White remarried and had another family.
