I have added a couple of hundred more names to my family tree in the last month. Some of them are the ancestors of Margaret JACKSON née IRWIN. SEE: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=silverbowl Secondly, I have posted a new page that I would love to have some input on. It concerns Margaret JACKSON née IRWIN who is the recently deceased of the will abstract that I have been researching. I know that there are many people on this list who know considerably more about the history of Monaghan than I do and I do look forward to being corrected if I have made errors. (If I haven't - I then look forward to utter astonishment and cheering! :) ) For now, I am still exploring where her deceased husband, Richard JACKSON, (or his family before him) came from before he was a resident of Monaghan. He was a successful leather merchant and leading donor in the community. I am suspecting connections to Drogheda, but need to follow that up. The recently posted will abstract and related research can be found at: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/documents/1834Jul2-MargaretJACKSON.html NAMES mentioned include: Margaret JACKSON of Monaghan née IRWIN; James JACKSON; James ALEXANDER; George BARTLEY; James HATCHETT; E.M. MORPHY; Richard JACKSON of Monaghan. Margaret came from SWANZY and SEAVER ancestry - which would tie her in to Co. Armagh.
