They married 1 June 1882 in Tynan and witnesses were Mary O'Hare and Patrick McQuade. They moved to Scotland and had 4 sons, Patrick, Owen,Peter and James. Owen Hughes father was Patrick Hughes and he was a labourer in 1882. Sarah O'Hares father was called John O'Hare and he was a farmer in 1882.
