She was born in 1893 in Dundee, Scotland. My mother has 2 sisters Violet and Rose. My mother was 1 year old when she came to the U.S. with her mother and sister Rose. Her other sister was born in the U.S. My mother is 87 and was born in Ashington, England. Molly may remember the older sister Rose. From what I understand my grandfather came to the U.S. because he couldn't make a living in Great Britain. He left his family at home until he job settled and had enough money for them to join him. I am wondering why you are interested in Daniel O'Hare. Where have you found his name? My mother did mention her family talking about O'Hare's. I think that my grandfather Peter served in World War I and that would have been in Scotland or England. May have been connected to Black Watch. I have always wondered why Peter listed his parents as having been born in Free Ireland. They appear to have been married in Northern Ireland. I am thinking Free Ireland means Southern Ireland.
